Die EC-FS-Baureihe ist speziell als kompakte Sensorkomponente entwickelt und eignet sich daher besonders für den Einbau in Paket- und Briefsortieranlagen. Sie deckt einen Messbereich von bis zu 15 kg ab.

Die Wägezellen der IW-B-FS-Baureihe decken einen Messbereich bis 120 kg ab und sind speziell für Applikationen im Schwerlastbereich konzipiert. Die Kombination mit einem SL60 Band sorgt für höchste Laufruhe und einen schnellen, sowie sicheren Produkttransport.

Ähnlich unkompliziert gestaltet sich auch die steuerungstechnische Anbindung unserer Wägezellen an Ihren Prozess: als anschlussfertige Einbaukomponente liefert die Wägezelle dank CAN-Bus unmittelbar nach Inbetriebnahme standardmäßig finale Gewichtswerte. Für den Fall, dass in Ihrer Fertigung besondere Umgebungsparameter zu beachten sind, können diese über integrierte Softwarefilter konfiguriert und selbstverständlich nach eigenen Vorgaben adaptiert werden.

Dimensioning Weighing Scanning – Everything at a Glance

The volume and weight data, plus the 1D/2D barcode information on the parcels is acquired and analyzed simultaneously by the DWS system. The three components of the DWS system undertake the most important tasks related to the acquisition of data on your letters and parcels in the smallest space. Several cameras or laser systems obtain the exact dimensions of the letters and parcels. During this process, objects with dimensions of 50 x 50 x 50 mm are registered in exactly the same way as large objects that measure 2,000 x 1,000 x 1,600 mm. The industril scale section of the DWS is used to calculate the volume of the parcel in conjunction with the weight measured to assign the parcel to a defined shipping class. The scanner then collects 1D or 2D barcodes with addresses, franking or other parameters, checking them for correctness if necessary. The DWS system is suitable for a wide range of logistics applications and consistently undertakes it’s task despite chaotic product/parcel sequences.

The information is then transferred to a central data management system and is used by the system as the basis for making decisions, such as the sorting function or whether the franking is correct. Data can then be read and analyzed at your convenience. This makes it possible to automatically record the type and number of letters and parcels while preparing a cost breakdown for your client.

Even Unusual Parcel Sizes and Shapes are Acquired

Bulky freight must also be checked for the relevant measurements in order to determine accurate transport costs incurred. To avoid time-wasting the "Irregular DWS System" collects the volume and weight of unusual parcels in a semi-automatic mode.

The system scans objects with a weight of up to 150 kg and dimensions up to 2,500 x 1,600 x 1,200 mm. Maximum belt speeds of up to 3.4 metres per second permit smooth, fast operation.

Catchweighers for Perfect Sorting and Completeness Checks

Parcel weighing with a double scale offers maximum efficiency. The two weighing belts are connected in order to weigh parcels simultaneously, or used together to simulate a third virtual scale to determine the weight of large parcels. The technology yields short distances between the parcels and the weighing of unsorted parcel sequences. The HC Letterscale is particularly suitable for weighing letters. Small weighing systems determine the weight of vertically transported letters in a matter of seconds and transmit the information to letter sorting machines, which can be integrated.

Reliable determination of the weight is also used for the completeness check on your letters and parcels. For instance, our system checks for quality assurance of outgoing letters from banks and insurance companies. Our solutions can determine the exact number of pages in a letter, or detect if a check card is missing, using the measured weight. The system immediately separates out letters with the wrong weight and documents them.
