Offline coding and serialization of folding boxes for pharmaceuticals
The TQS-SP Flat Boxes from WIPOTEC-OCS was designed for offline coding and serialization of flat cardboard blanks used in folding boxes for pharmaceuticals. With a throughput of up to 250 cardboard blanks per minute, it enables cost-efficient serialization of small and medium batch sizes of pharmaceutical packaging that is to be pre-produced or hand-packed.
The TQS-SP with integrated InkPrint printing system is ready for use immediately and processes flat cardboard blanks up to a format width of 372 millimetres. The ConfigureFast cross-system operating concept controls layout, transport and printing system as well as camera-based real-time verification of code and text. The camera system guarantees 100% correct printing results due to full-surface optical print verification. Faulty products are reliably ejected into a lockable rejection bin; successfully serialized cardboard blanks are transported into a stacker. Stepless format conversion permits fast product changes in just a few minutes.
