The CAN Fieldbus Interface 2 (CFI2) represents the next development stage of Wipotec’s fieldbus gateway technology. It combines a wide range of communication features with an optimized, compact housing design. 

Thanks to its integrated multiprotocol architecture, the CFI2 enables Wipotec Weigh Cells and drives to be connected to all standard Ethernet fieldbuses using a single device. This makes the CFI2 ideal for challenging weighing tasks. This applies to both single and multilane applications and to static and dynamic applications. Configuration is easily performed via an integrated web server. Automatic detection features, predefined configuration profiles, and direct device access make commissioning much easier. It is also optimally equipped to meet cybersecurity standards thanks to its design.
