Recent high-speed throughput demands push measurement technology to its limits. Individual application parameters are gaining maximum importance and influence. An example: at up to 700 products per minute, every item has only around 86 milliseconds of total cycle time. The actual allowed weighing time is even shorter. A tighter time window leaves no room for error. Everything simply has to proceed much faster and run smoothly.
Wipotec’s dynamic checkweighing systems are based on Electro-Magnetic Force Restauration. This enables us to deliver precise, reproducible weight values. But that alone is not sufficient. Only with the perfectly aligned product handling and the experienced know-how will ultra-fast dynamic weighing be a stable success. Each application comes with its challenges regarding airflow, vibrations, product characteristics, behavior, etc. All of this impacts the weighing process. That is why a holistic system design is needed. Product tests are not only highly recommended; they are essential. All of this will result in a reliable and consistently stable process line and loadable quality assurance at maximum throughput.
High speed should never mean compromising on precision. At our facilities in Kaiserslautern, we have installed a test center specially designed for products running at speeds above 700 pcs/min. Here, we can validate demanding high-speed applications. Our goal is simple: to develop system designs that we know will work, meet customer requirements, pass the necessary tests successfully, and provide the confidence required for a reliable investment decision.
