Next Level: MFXr (Multi Frequency X-ray)

One of the most complex tasks in meat production is the detection of the smallest bones such as fan and rib bones. Due to an almost identical absorption behaviour of bones and meat, conventional quality controls often produce inaccurate results. The Multi Frequency X-ray - also known as MFXr - takes on these challenges: Due to the energy-discrete measurement value acquisition, up to 256 grey values can be derived in MFXr from the characteristic area under the measurement curve. The advantage: Contaminations can not only be detected, but for the first time the system allows exact statements to be made about the type of foreign body and thus, under certain circumstances, about its origin.
