25 years of quality management at Wipotec

A path to success with vision

On February 16, 2001, the management of WIPOTEC GmbH made a groundbreaking decision: to introduce a quality management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001. The goal was initial certification and thus a clear commitment to structured processes, transparent organization, and continuous improvement.

What began with 108 employees at the time was an important step toward securing the company's dynamic growth in the long term. It was emphasized early on that a quality management system should not be a bureaucratic end in itself, but should support an open, flexible corporate culture.

Quality management representative Bernd Zinke recalls that this path was not free of prejudice:

“We are fast and flexible. QM is exactly the opposite: it consists of regulations and slows us down,” was the prejudice 25 years ago. But it's exactly the opposite. We have defined and adhered to standards, which means we remain reliable in our performance. This has created more room for speed, flexibility, and innovation because processes have been proven and continuously improved."

25 years later, quality management is part of everyday life at Wipotec. Regular audits, continuous optimization of processes, and the commitment of our employees ensure that we meet our high standards of quality, precision, and reliability.
