To celebrate the 75th birthday of company founder Theo Düppre

Wipotec Team Plants 1,200 Trees

Last Saturday, around 500 Wipotec employees and their families came together to plant 1,200 native hardwood trees in the Kaiserslautern city forest. The event celebrated the 75th birthday of the company’s founder, Theo Düppre, who was honored with this meaningful and sustainable gift. Guided by the city’s forestry department, oaks, hornbeams, field maples, and sweet chestnuts were planted—making a lasting contribution to nature.

The initiative, organized by Wipotec’s management, aimed to create something of lasting value and set an example for the future. With support from foresters and the enthusiastic participation of employees, the project was a great success.

Theo Düppre, who actively took part in the planting, was deeply moved and promised to regularly visit the newly planted trees: “I hope they’ll thrive for the next 100 to 200 years!”
