Wipotec Congratulates Lars Truderung
Top Mechatronics Graduate 2025 in Rhineland-Palatinate
Lars Truderung, former trainee at Wipotec and employed as a junior specialist since June 2025, completed his final examination as a Mechatronics Technician at the Palatinate Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK Pfalz) as the best candidate of 2025. Among a total of 217 examinees, the 26-year-old achieved an outstanding score of 1.3 – a top result in Rhineland-Palatinate.
During a celebratory ceremony in Mutterstadt on November 12, 2025, Mr. Truderung was officially honored by the IHK Pfalz for his exceptional performance.
When asked how he achieved such excellent results, Mr. Truderung said: “I simply had great trainers. And if I hadn’t been interested, I wouldn’t have pursued the apprenticeship.” Besides his work at Wipotec, he also enjoys working with technology in his private life and occasionally repairs tools like power drills.
Lars Truderung is currently gaining valuable practical experience in checkweigher production at Wipotec before starting a two-year technician training program at the Meisterschule Kaiserslautern in August 2026.
Udo Wagner, Managing Director at Wipotec, emphasizes: “We are very proud of Mr. Truderung. He impressively demonstrates the path one can take—from apprenticeship to practical experience and further technical qualification. After that, all doors are open to him at Wipotec, whether in project planning, design, or commercial and technical career paths. Wipotec needs people with this level of training.”
Carsten Pfaff and Timo Schwarz, his former trainers, add: “His life experience was a great asset to the entire class. He often took on leadership roles and helped drive the team forward.”
A particularly pleasing note: Alongside Mr. Truderung’s success, Wipotec was also recognized as the best training company. Wipotec trains around 15 apprentices each year in the professions of Mechatronics Technician, Office Administrator, Warehouse Logistics Specialist, and IT Specialist. Currently, 50 apprentices are learning at Wipotec.
