Detecting bones in poultry products is particularly challenging. Compared to materials such as metal or glass, bones have significantly lower absorption properties, making them harder to identify using conventional systems.

Combining X-ray inspection and checkweighing in one system
A key advantage of the SC-F lies in the integration of MFXr sensor technology with a high-precision checkweigher. This combination allows inspection and evaluation to take place in a single step.
The system offers a weighing accuracy of 0.5 g within a range of 30 to 1,500 g. At the same time, the MFXr technology ensures reliable differentiation between actual foreign bodies and non-critical product structures.
An additional benefit is the integrated grading function: based on the measured weight, products are automatically classified within the system. This reduces manual effort, increases transparency and supports consistent quality control processes.
Hygienic design for demanding production environments
The SC-F has been consistently designed to meet the requirements of food processing environments. The entire housing is made of high-quality stainless steel (1.4301), while protection class IP69K ensures full resistance to high-pressure and hot water cleaning.
The product area is free of dead spaces and designed to prevent residue buildup. This enables fast, safe and efficient cleaning processes – a critical factor in daily operation.
In addition, the system can be seamlessly integrated into existing production lines. Available as a single-lane or dual-lane configuration and equipped with standard reject systems, the SC-F offers maximum flexibility for both new installations and retrofits.
Flexibility through AI-supported product handling
Frequent product changes are part of everyday operations in modern food production. The SC-F addresses this challenge with an AI-supported training function.
New products are automatically analyzed, and optimal inspection parameters are set without manual intervention. Up to 100 products can be stored in the system, with further expansion available on request.
This significantly reduces setup times and makes the system particularly suitable for production lines with frequently changing batches.

Minimizing false rejects while maintaining maximum safety
False rejects represent a significant cost factor, especially for high-value poultry products. The SC-F uses artificial intelligence to continuously optimize inspection parameters and distinguish between actual hazards and harmless product characteristics.
