Electronic modules for Weigh Cells and AVC sensors can be mounted quickly and easily, while the base module supplies operating voltage and ensures connectivity to fieldbus and analysis interfaces.
Interface and Connectivity Options
Today’s most important topic—until harmonization is achieved—is interface diversity. Wipotec Weigh Cells support a wide range of communication protocols, including CANopen, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, Profinet IO, Powerlink, RS422, and Profibus DP. This flexibility ensures smooth integration into existing systems and creates room for future-oriented concepts.
In addition, machine builders benefit from versatile connection options. Depending on the installation concept, connections can be placed at the rear or bottom, with straight or angled connectors for maximum design freedom. Whatever the system architecture, Wipotec Weigh Cells adapt seamlessly.
Active Vibration Compensation (AVC)
As standard, all Wipotec Weigh Cells are equipped with Active Vibration Compensation (AVC). This proprietary sensor-based technology filters out impulse forces and disruptive vibrations caused by feed axes, drive units, or imbalances. The result is stable, highly precise weighing results, even under the most demanding production conditions.
By eliminating application-specific vibrations, AVC enables reliable performance across industries—from pharmaceuticals and food to chemicals, logistics, and beyond. It is a key enabler of Quality Assurance 4.0.
Wash-Down Capability
High-precision weighing technology and wet cleaning are not mutually exclusive. With wash-down options for both stainless steel and aluminum Weigh Cells, Wipotec ensures protection up to IP65—and for special applications, even IP69K.
This guarantees better performance in cleaning processes and makes the Weigh Cells particularly suitable for hygienic multi-lane systems in the pharmaceutical and food industries.
Flexible Installation Possibilities
Wipotec Weigh Cells provide unlimited freedom of installation. Mounting flanges can be positioned on top or bottom for efficient, space-saving integration into complex machine layouts.
